Students of Victorious Kidss Educares showcase their creative talents at exhibition

PUNE: With the theme of 100 languages of self-expression, students grade 5 students of the Victorious Kidss Educares, explored different forms of art, at an exhibition in the school recently. Students showcased their skills and knowledge through music, dance, drama, digital art, photography, visual arts, and sculpting, to demonstrate how they can bring a difference in the world through their chosen art forms, a statement issued by the school said.

The student-led exhibition was a culmination of their learning journey, with the school community’s guidance and support, including mentors, teachers, and parents. The highlight of the event was a panel discussion on ’empowering artists of the future,’ where eminent personalities such as Randhir Khare, a poet and dramatist, Pandit Shekhar Borkar, a sarod maestro, Aziza Degwekar, a dancer and teacher, and Vaishali Kulkarni, a storyteller and theatre-facilitator, shared their experiences and guiding students, about the significance of art forms in today’s world.

The statement further added that the workshops were conducted by the students themselves, teaching and engaging the participants in exploring the art form and learning new techniques related to it. The students also presented their learning journeys through vivid displays, 3D models, original works, charts, and interactive graphics that captivated the observers’ imaginations.

The digital arts students imparted valuable lessons on sustainable living, while the photography students presented a realistic depiction of life on land. The performing artists showcased foot-tapping music and scintillating dance and drama performances, highlighting issues related to equality and climate change, added the statement.
