Today Saturday, May 11, the City of Kissimmee Fire Department is inviting the community to their Open House event from 10 AM to 2 PM at Station 13, located at 1801 North Hoagland Blvd. in Kissimmee. The event will be spearheaded by Fire Chief Jim Walls along with the dedicated team of firefighters.


  • Meet the Firefighters: Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the heroes who protect their community. Fire Chief Jim Walls will lead the team in showcasing their daily responsibilities and the rigorous demands of fire service.
  • Station Tours: Tour Fire Station 13 and get an inside look at the operations and equipment used in firefighting and emergency medical services.
  • Educational Presentations: Learn about fire safety, prevention techniques, and what it takes to be a firefighter. Special presentations will focus on how the department is evolving to meet the growing needs of the community.
